Pexatherm underfloor heating

Here he explains why it is the most effective UFH systems 'With many existing buildings and homes desiring underfloor heating IPPEC offers several fast to install systems. Labour is the now one of the highest cost in any building works.

Back in 1986 we introduced the Pipe-in-Staple system.

This is where the pipe was directly held to the insulation board by plastic staples.

This was a revolutionary fast to install system then, compared with tying the pipe to awkward mesh.

The Pipe-in-Clipboard system is another fast to install system but the high cost of the boards gave it a limited appeal.

That is until now.

Recently IPPEC introduced the clipboard panels without insulation attached to them and now the clipboards with 10 mm insulation thickness.

All at very reasonable price.

The Pexatherm Pipe-in-Clipboard is a now viable alternative to the Pipe-in-Staple as it is easy and fast to install and without a financial penalty.

The clipboards overlap each other at two ends and clip together to form a vapour tight barrier.

PEXc 16 mm o d heating pipe and the ML pipe (PEX with an aluminium layer) with the same diameter is clipped in the boards.

The pipe from the reel is just pushed in place by foot and according to the pipe layout drawing supplied by IPPEC.

Underfloor heating is now a mainstream form of heating with the new high standards of floor insulation and low temperature output condensing boilers.

All buildings can now benefit from low temperature underfloor heating without financial costs.

The low cost Pexatherm Pipe-in-Clipboard for new floors and the recently introduced Pexatherm Thin system for existing floors are there to help with costs of installation and material.
