Heating engineers push for Tectite

Alan D Scoffield Heating Engineers specialise in installing and servicing domestic fires, boilers, and showers. The company employs twenty qualified installers, all of whom have now been shown the benefits of Tectite. Says owner Alan Scoffield, 'The visual appearance of Tectite is what sold it to me - it looks quality'.

'Being heat-free, it's a nice clean installation'.

'We'd never use plastic where an installation is on show'.

Scoffield's showroom installation is one of the few working unvented heating displays in the north-west.

Unvented heating systems are ideal for large domestic properties with two, three or four bathrooms, and these are quite common in the south Wirral.

The system works by utilising mains cold water pressure to the cylinder, resulting in an equal pressure at the hot outlet.

This is ideal for instances when more than one bathroom needs to be used simultaneously.

Alan reports an increase in interest since the installation of the working model, saying, 'The display has been in our showroom for a couple of weeks now, but we've already taken orders for four weeks' work during that time, and are quoting on more all the time'.

As well as Tectite, the model also uses Yorkshire Fittings' XPress Gas press-fit fittings, Mistral thermostatic radiator valves and Tectite quarter turn ball valves.

Sales Engineer Dave Heaton commented, 'It's great news for Yorkshire Fittings that Scoffield's are promoting our products in their showroom'.

'It means their customers can come in and see the quality of the installation and specifically request it's replicated in their homes.'
